I have a rather decadent lifestyle. I pick the best food when I want to live to eat. Every morning whenever I am in Singapore, I drink a vegetable juice to reduce everything bad in my body hopefully, i.e. toxins, cholesterol and etc.

Initially the vegetable juice taste awful. But after awhile, you will get a hang of it and you will acquire a taste for the juice. Gradually your palette will improve, where you can distinguish different taste of vegetable.
Don't be alarmed, that you will find your pee to be pinkish colour and your stool to be purplish colour, that comes from the beetroot. For me I generally feel so much better after 3 weeks I start on the juice.

Here is my morning brew.

Ingredients
1/2 a beet root (get rid to toxins and good source of iron of blood regeneration)
1/2 a cucumber (for silica to prevent hair loss)
1 stick of celery (lowers blood pressure)
1 green apple (good for the heart)
1/2 green pepper / capsicum (good for blood circulation)
1 mini bitter gourd ( not shown in picture lower blood pressure and prevent diabetes)

1. Wash all the vegetable and fruits.
2. Peel beet root skin and green apple skin (if apple has wax on skin)
3. Cut cucumber, green pepper and beet root into halve (reserve the rest for the next day).
4. Juice everything in a juicer. I am using Philips Juicer HR1861.
5. The juice fills up a beer size mug as shown in the picture.
6. Gulp everything down.

is the mini bittergourd the ugly skin type?
yeah, I know what u mean about Beetroot. But I prefer it cooked. I use it eat it too, made a relish out of it. But i guess the redness causes everything to stain..food look funny and unappetizing, so in the end I had to eat it myself!

will try your healthy brew soon. my place here sells fresh beetroot. 2 blocks away from my flat. island
