Thanks Gina for this superb and easy to follow recipe. Made this for dinner tonight. Adjusted the seasonings as I was cooking a whole chicken and added chinese wine as well. Whole family loved it and the chicken and soup was finished to the last drop. Yummy Very Happy

Gina, can check with you...how come I can see the peppercorns swimming in my soup but yours look so clear? The peppercorns became black from frying, is it coz I fry them too long? What is the purpose of adding and frying the peppercorns? Is it to get rid of the chicken smell? Sorry for being so lor soh Embarassed Thanks Gina Wink

Gina, thanks for sharing this recipe!!

I made this earlier this afternoon and my soup didn't turn out clear like yours too. My soup turned out to be slight salty, I didn't put salt and in fact I used 1000ml of water. so how?

So now I try to add abit more water and cook in the slow cooker!

Btw, can I add in wolfberries now? cheers
