|I like to bake this rice on my busy days. You can even prepare it one day before and just dump it into the oven the next day. It is also ideal if you don't know what to do with left-over rice :lol:
That's all you need. Of course the rice. Cheese is optional
First layer onions and asparugus, then rice
Next layer, sausages + aspargus then rice (I use rosemary lamb sausage from cold storage. They carry a variety)
alternate it until you reach the top.
Final layer, I add in sliced cheddar cheese.
Was too busy, when I wanted to take the pic on the baked rice, it was half gone
*these are raw sausages, so boil them till half cooked before baking it.
Overall baking time for the dish is about 30 mins on 150 C in Corning Ware with lid.
