|I had this soup every other day whenever I travel to Guangzhou, china.
Re-created it and its almost the same taste..!
Here's my tried and tested recipe
Serves 4 persons
2 kg oxtail, trimmed off fat
1 white onion(cut into quarters)
2 litres water
1 radish, cut into chunks
salt to taste
1 tbsp of Szechuan peppercorns
2 pcs cinnamon sticks
3 pcs of star anisee
1 tsp cloves
1. Add water, spice mix, oxtail into a slow cooker to cook for 2 hours.
2. When the meat is softer, add radish chunks and continue to cook for another 1 hour using HIGH HEAT.
3. After 3 hours of slow cooking, add salt to taste.
4. Serve with warmed rice.
