I bought this from the medicinal hall near my place. S$6 for a pack of 8 pcs. The shop owner told me its best for cooking chicken soup.

Serves 4 persons
Ingredients
half a chicken
500ml water
3 pcs Ginseng Root
200ml Ginseng Wine(Eu Yan Sang brand)
salt to taste
2 stalks Coriander leaves plus roots
10 pcs seedless Red Dates
1 tbsp Wolfberries

Method
1. Blanch chicken in hot water for 1 min. Discard the water.
2. Heat up claypot and add water to boil.
3. Once it starts boiling add red dates and chicken.
4. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
5. Add rest of ingredients except wine.
6. Taste with salt according to taste.
7. Just before serving, pour wine over the top.
8. Serve immediately.

Claire

yes..! But I added wine to enhance the flavour. If you don't have chinese ginseng wine, just use a good XO or Brandy.
