Kitchen Capers Forum would not have started without the help of my good friend, Mr Prashant Patel. He has helped me to develop and design the website and the forum in the early years.

About Prashant Patel

I came to know Prashant through a data recovery job I did for him. Understanding that his work and background exists around web development, I asked Prashant for his help and guidance in creating this website.

Prashant is a godsend, I must say. I am happy that our paths crossed. And Prashant proved invaluable to us here at Kitchen Capers as he provides us with all the basic know-how on web development and design.

Prashant helped us to get the ball rolling and spend considerable time working and fixing the website and the forum board to my satisfaction. All these time, this humble gentleman expects no monies or rewards or favours.

I am indebted to him for his kindness and his expertise and help.

My Family and My Parents-in-law

To my family who has been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement. And my mom for her endless patience with my cooking skills. My dearest hubby, Benny Lim, the greatest supporter in all my cooking adventures, failed and otherwise.

To my late father-in-law who used to encourage me to cook in my early years as his daughter-in-law. Whenever I cook bittergourd soup, I am often reminded of his love for me. A quiet man he was, he spoke to me in a gentle voice, his ways are simple yet profound.

To my mother-in-law who encourage me and to try out new ways of cooking vegetarian meals for her. Since she converted to Buddhism in the early 1990s, she only started to go on pure vegetarian meals a few years later. A sweet old dame, she would go to great lengths to prepare non-vegetarian meals for all of us and ate steamed rice with some vegetables for herself. A mother's love is priceless and my way of showing how much I appreciated her was to create new recipes of vegetarian food for her. And to re-create non-vegetarian food into vegetarian food just for her.

To my friends, past and present

The list is endless. Its impossible to list out everyone. But these are the people who stood by me, encourage me, cry with me through good times and bad. Friends I have made when KC went into existence, friends of past with whom I have kept in contact since my single days.

Thank you everyone for being there for me.

My God, my Saviour and My Shepherd

Above all, KC started with God in mind. That it would bring glory to His Name. A SHEPHERD in my paths, my ways. A source for all my daily takings through life's journey. Without God, nothing exists and everything exists for a reason.

KC has inspired and open many doors for me and for many who comes in and share at the forum. While to many its just a place to share recipes, to others, it gives them hope and inspiration.

Thank you EVERYONE for making KC what it is today. God Bless you, each and everyone.
